Feb. 13, 2023 – Whitefish Bay, WI – Calling her “the right choice for working people,” the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO has endorsed Jodi Habush Sinykin for State Senate District 8.
“Jodi Habush Sinykin is committed to protecting and expanding opportunities for the middle class,” said Wisconsin State AFL-CIO President Stephanie Bloomingdale. “She is willing to fight for social and economic justice for all people. The Wisconsin State AFL-CIO wholeheartedly endorses her.”
Habush Sinykin is running to replace former Senator Alberta Darling, who retired last year. She will face the winner of a Republican primary to be held Feb. 21.
“I’m grateful to the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO for their support,” Habush Sinykin said. “In Madison, I intend to stand up for collective bargaining rights and worker protections, and I look forward to working with my colleagues there to ensure Wisconsin workers are properly trained, protected and compensated.”
